Our ESG Management

ANA WINGS connects about 50 airports from Wakkanai in the north to Ishigaki in the south, operating two types of small aircrafts (DHC-8-400 and B737-800). We also value the connections between "town," "people," and "heart" through our four bases (Haneda, Chubu, Itami, and Fukuoka), and by growing together with the local community. Moreover, We will also contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. as well as our management vision.

  • ANA WINGS is the only propeller-driven operator in ANA Group.

DHC-8-400 is an environmentally friendly aircraft that, despite its small size (74 seats), the aircraft's light weight makes it more fuel-efficient and lower CO2 emissions compared to jets. In addition, the ability to take off and land on short runways allows this aircraft to fly routes that would be difficult for large jets to fly. Therefore, we contribute to regional revitalization by bringing customers to local cities.

  • Together with our future children

ANA WINGS has held a variety of both actual and digital "aviation classes" and "career education" even under COVID-19 circumstances. We are also actively taking on the challenge of "STEAM education," which cultivates the ability to think by adding elements of science and art to mathematics. In addition, we are participating in events with local science museums where children can learn to think while playing with airplanes as a theme. We are still in the trial-and-error stage. However, we will continue to take on challenges with children to discover and solve problems in an increasingly diverse society.

  • Carter Flights with local communities

Together with local governments and local companies, we conducted a sightseeing charter flight from Kagoshima over Amami Oshima Island and Tokunoshima Island, which were registered as World Natural Heritage sites in July 2021. We also conducted the very first charter flight in Kyushu, Nagasaki to view the sunrise on New Year's Day 2022 from the sky. We will continue to consider projects that will energize all of Japan and promote tourism.

  • Supporting Local Products

Have you heard of Tokoname ware? Tokoname ware is created in the Chita Peninsula area, including Tokoname City where Chubu International is located. This area has one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. In order to support this cultural ware, the Chubu branch is working to create a community by displaying and selling products from stores in Tokoname. In addition, we introduce Tokoname ware created by young ceramic artists in rest areas and participating in events such as the "Tokoname Ware Festival".
